Frequently Asked Questions

What is an e-visit or telemedicine?

An e-vist is a term used by practitioners that use telemedicine. It is the ability to have a docotor's visit on a digital device, like a computer, tablet or smart phone that has video capabilities or by telephone conference. This is a more convenient and affordable way to have a healthcare visit if a client has a non-emergency appointment, lives in a rural area, has a busy schedule or lack transportation.
